I’ve unintentionally taken an extended break from blogging recently, a combination of being busy in the run up to Christmas along with a lack of light making it impossible to take photos of food that I can share here.

I’m not very good at making resolutions but I’m planning to get back to blogging on a regular basis and to get started I’m doing a lazy one – these 5 recipes were the most viewed in 2014.

I love these things, I make variations of them all the time, they are a handy snack to keep in the fridge or freezer. This recipe (that’s so simple I almost didn’t post it!) accounts for 1/3 of all of the views on my whole blog – it’s a popular one!

These were my first foray into gluten and dairy free baking and they worked really well first time! So easy to make and really delicious.

These I try not to make too often as while they are more nutritious than a reeses peanut butter cup they have that morish quality that means I inevitably end up eating them all in less than 48 hours.

Red Lentil Dahl with Sweet Potato and Spinach

This is a recipe I’ve been making for years so it was a gimme for the blog. Delicious, really filling and super healthy this recipe freezes incredibly well. It’s great with rice or a naan bread.

Honey Almond Oat Bars

These are a great alternative to shop bought cereal bars, keep them in an airtight container for a couple of weeks!

One thing is pretty clear from these most popular recipes is that the healthier, easy ones are the most popular. I’m planning to focus on those ones in 2015, here’s to a healthier, tastier year ahead!
